What you always wanted to know about me but were afraid to ask (Claudia)
I grew up in… Guatemala, Central America
My very first job was…of course, baby-sitting
I attended school… in Guatemala
If I could change my first name, it would be to… Destiny
The best day of the year is…November 1st in Guatemala. It is a holiday where all the family gets together. There is a very special dish with different meats and vegetables and every family makes their own called Fiambre. (It takes like two days to make it, and all the kids help by cutting vegetables, ham or chicken.) Then you all get together by noon and eat a little bit of everyone’s Fiambre. And you fly kites and share until is night…and then you eat Fiambre again
If I could have dinner with anyone, I would eat with…My Grandma (that lives in heaven.)
I laugh the hardest…at the things kids say…specially my daughter Daniela.
Snow or beach?...Totally Beach
My favorite movie line is…”Don’t forget that what you do in this life will echo in eternity.” (Gladiator)
I would surprise my family the most by…getting married in Vegas.
When I am not at work, you can find me…at home, at church, or at my sister’s.
I can remember when…there were no Ipod’s or MP3’s, only round, hard, heavy records. (To listen to a song again you had to do it manually…my nieces don’t believe me.)
One thing my husband wants you to know about me…Sorry…I don’t have a husband.
My dream vacation would be … Europe (Italy, France, and of course, Israel.) |
